About Pastor Sam
Pastor Samuel Obafaiye is the Parish Pastor of RCCG Everlasting Father’s Assembly, Leeds, and is an anointed minister, teacher, and shepherd with a heart fully devoted to God and His people. Alongside his beloved wife, Pastor Anthonia Obafaiye, they lead this congregation with love, wisdom, and a deep commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
His Calling & Ministry
Pastor Samuel’s journey in ministry began many years ago, birthed out of a genuine encounter with God and a clear call to win souls, make disciples, and build God’s kingdom. He is a man of prayer, a student of the Word, and a preacher whose messages are marked by clarity, depth, and life-transforming power. His teaching style is practical, rooted entirely in Scripture, and delivered with such warmth and conviction that it touches hearts, builds faith, and inspires believers to live out their calling daily.
Under his leadership, Everlasting Father’s Assembly has grown into a thriving, multicultural family, deeply rooted in faith and actively impacting Leeds and beyond. He is known for his emphasis on undiluted truth, the power of prayer, holiness, and living a purpose-driven life, always pointing people to Jesus as the source of all hope, strength, and blessing. His favourite theme and driving philosophy remains: “Pressing forward to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”, a vision he continually imparts to everyone he ministers to.
His Heart & Character
More than his preaching, Pastor Samuel is loved and respected for who he is — a humble, compassionate, and approachable servant-leader. He lives what he preaches; he is always available to counsel, encourage, and stand with members in every season of life. Whether visiting the sick, comforting the hurting, guiding families, or reaching out to the community, he serves with genuine love and integrity, reflecting the very nature of our “Everlasting Father” after whom our church is named.
He believes strongly that the church is God’s family, and his greatest joy is to see every believer grow spiritually, discover their gifts, and fulfil their God-given destiny. Together with Pastor Anthonia, they bring a balanced ministry of grace, care, and discipline, creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered.
